Where You'll Find Me

I'm currently running my blog over at WritersAfterDark.net. I'd love it if you stopped by and hang for a bit! I'll return the favor, promise!

Running two blogs gets a bit difficult, so bear with me while I figure things out. In the meantime, if I could interest you in industry news, writing tips, and poking some fun at writerly problems, you'll find me here:

Fear

It consumes you.
It stops your track.
It makes you wonder if you even know yourself anymore.
But,
It also makes you stronger.

If you push through your fear you will find out just what you are capable of. It only exists within you and only you can overcome it. Yes, you need help along the way. Sometimes you allow fear to take you to dark places and if you are lucky you have at least one person who will hold your hand and show you the light. The same light that lives in you. The same light that gives you strength. You know its in you but you need that reminder once in a while. I'm grateful that I have a couple of hands holding the light up for me but they can only illuminate my path so much. The rest is on me.

Fear, you are nothing. I will overcome you. Maybe not yet, but I will.
I have back up so watch out.

  1. Strong hands are here to support you. Just remember as the Japanese proverb says:
"Fear is only as deep as the mind allows."
You are strong and talented and can certainly overcome any obstacle.... Keep going!!!

  2. If you fear fear, all you've got is fear. It's good that you don't fear fear and are out to conquer it.

  3. It's so important to find those who build you up with intelligent insights as to what we're doing right. Thanks for sharing! I've been feeling a lot of fear myself, and yeah, need to trust myself to write this next book.

    1. Definitely important that the insights are intelligent and that they guide right, no one needs encouragement when you are going down the wrong road. That next book? I don't think you have to worry much, The Dollhouse Asylum looks fantastic! And creepy... in a good way ;)
