Where You'll Find Me

I'm currently running my blog over at WritersAfterDark.net. I'd love it if you stopped by and hang for a bit! I'll return the favor, promise!

Running two blogs gets a bit difficult, so bear with me while I figure things out. In the meantime, if I could interest you in industry news, writing tips, and poking some fun at writerly problems, you'll find me here:

Celebrate the Small Things

This hop comes with easy instructions:
sign up, post something to celebrate,
hop around and cheer on others, bask in warm glow.
Full instructions and badge here.

This week I celebrate:
1- Getting some rewriting done without driving myself into insanity.
2- Read a little. I was too consumed with writing last week so this was a welcomed
break. (I read Warm Bodies, I liked it... now I have to go see the movie!)
3- Got a workout in everyday this week... err not sure about today yet.
But yay for the past 4 days, right???

What do you celebrate this week?

  1. I have totally put off working out while trying to finish this first draft so good for you getting motivated and actually doing it. 4 days a week is AWESOME compared to most people. Also I am with you on the reading thing. I was going to bed too tired to read since I just word endlessly on my manuscript and I found that reading a good book really recharged my energy and got me excited again to write in hopes that my story will flow just as beautifully one day :)

    1. Reading really does give you a nice recharge! Last week I didn't make it to bed until around 5:30am three days straight, then to get up a few hours later to be a mom... not good. Working out this week is one thing, let's see next week...

    1. I wish I was as dedicated as I sound, I do well for a few weeks then fall off the wagon.
Yes, read Warm Bodies, it has its little off moments but I enjoyed Isaac Morion's sense of humor and his take on the Zombies :)

    1. Writing does flow better after reading... unless you awaken a beast and all you want to do is read after, I'm guilty of this lol
