Where You'll Find Me

I'm currently running my blog over at WritersAfterDark.net. I'd love it if you stopped by and hang for a bit! I'll return the favor, promise!

Running two blogs gets a bit difficult, so bear with me while I figure things out. In the meantime, if I could interest you in industry news, writing tips, and poking some fun at writerly problems, you'll find me here:

A to Z Challenge—S.K.-isms! H is for . . .

H is for Hushtory. Defined as something left in the past that you do not speak of. Example:

You know that thing you did, way back when? Probably in college. You and your friend(s) did some stuff you’re not entirely proud of. Or maybe you are proud (wink, wink) but don’t think it would be wise to share. Well, that. You guys decided to keep it hush and in the past. So you little naughty person, you . . . have your own hushtory.

*S.K.’s original. Tell me yours, I’ll tell you mine (not!).

  1. Do you make these words up in real life as you are talking? Because that would be really funny.

    1. I can answer that one. Yes. We've come up with an entire second language based on misspellings and autocorrect while private messaging, and now those words feel like the real ones.
