Where You'll Find Me

I'm currently running my blog over at WritersAfterDark.net. I'd love it if you stopped by and hang for a bit! I'll return the favor, promise!

Running two blogs gets a bit difficult, so bear with me while I figure things out. In the meantime, if I could interest you in industry news, writing tips, and poking some fun at writerly problems, you'll find me here:

A to Z Challenge—S.K.-isms! N is for . . .

N is for notrrific. Stands for not terrific. Example:

“Ryan, hold up!”
“What’s up, Kev?”
“I got you permission to go work with me undercover on the case.”
“Terrific!”
“But, you’ll have to enroll and take classes like a regular student.”
“Do I have to do homework too?”
“Of course. I did say like a regular student, didn’t I? Homework, assignments, tests. Everything.”
“Notrrific, dude. Notrrific!”

*S.K.’s original. I’m sorry!
**Characters from Static . . . nothey would never . . .
***Amazing and ironic that the word itself is notriffic.

  1. I'm first! I'm first! Never mind the fact that I'm awake at an ungodly hour and have no idea what I just read. I'm first and that the important thing to focus on.

And being awake this early is notriffic.

  2. I agree with Lynda that being up too early is notriffic...I myself was kept up half the night with a recurring leg cramp...definitely notriffic!

  10. I shall make it my goal to get notriffic in Merriam Webster one day, because that word is the exact opposite of notriffic.

P.S. I heard that, Janie! Heehee
