Where You'll Find Me

I'm currently running my blog over at WritersAfterDark.net. I'd love it if you stopped by and hang for a bit! I'll return the favor, promise!

Running two blogs gets a bit difficult, so bear with me while I figure things out. In the meantime, if I could interest you in industry news, writing tips, and poking some fun at writerly problems, you'll find me here:

Favorite Aspect of Being a Writer & Frequently Confused Words — IWSG (36)

IWSG November Question: What is your favorite aspect of being a writer?

Writing to me is like living all those adventures I'm too chicken to try out in real life. It's exploring all the possibilities with any kind of superpowers I'll never develop. But really, my favorite aspect?

It's embracing creativity and freeing myself in the process.

And I absolutely love that. What I don't love is getting confused by technicalities, like you know . . . the boring rules :P

As a writer, I already know that I don’t know everything. I won’t memorize all the rules, no matter how hard I try. And I won’t remember all of those darn confusing words that love tormenting me.

Over at Writers After Dark, we’ve compiled several cheat sheets for just this problem. Why? Well, frankly, because why not? Here are five charts on the most frequently confused words. I truly hope they help you . . . as much as they help me. Because, yes, I do frequently refer to these for my own work. Enjoy!

What other grammar issues do you encounter frequently?
